Lonesome Oak was established in 2016 in Brashear Missouri. We currently have 4000 acres of hunting grounds. All of our farms consist of crp, ag field, blocks of timber, and biologic food plots. We are currently hunting farms in Adair, Macon, and Linn counties.

Whitetail Deer Hunts
All our hunts are five days of hunting with six nights of lodging, except Muzzleloader hunts which are four day hunts and five nights of lodging. We operate out of lock on stands, ladder stands, and ground blinds (elevated and on ground).

We currently have several sponsors, that being said all our ground blinds, stands, and cameras are Muddy Outdoors products. We are also happy to team up with Nose Jammer for our scent products.

All bucks must meet a 125 inch minimum. If it does not meet the requirement there will be an additional $500 fine.
 

MO DEER HUNTING SEASON
One of the greatest things about Missouri is the season opens September 15th (2 weeks before most states). During the early season we are pattering bucks on soybean fields, and food plots. Come mid October and early November we are focusing more in the timber and edge of cut agriculture fields, as the mature bucks are searching for the hot does. When Muzzleloader (late season) comes around in December we are hunting on food strictly(cut corn/bean field/foodplots). We want our customers to arrive as friends and leave as family. 

Turkey Hunting
Lonesome Oak Outfitters will be running two weeks of DIY turkey hunts in the spring. The first week of hunting will be a three day hunt, and the second week will be a four day hunt. In Missouri you will be allowed to harvest two birds during the second and third week.

Lonesome Oak staff will scout birds in the afternoon, and give helpful advice of where to set up the following morning. We will give all hunters in camp a aerial map of the farm they will be hunting. We have plenty of room to roam with farms covering three different counties in Northeast Missouri. All hunters will need to bring their own calls, decoys, other turkey hunting accessories. Lonesome Oak will have ground blinds in camp, and hunters will be able to use if need be.

When your not out in the fields hunting, you can sit back and enjoy our 8 bedroom/8 bath 5000 square foot lodge. Take a load off in our cozy living/dining room area or sit back and enjoy the view out at our large hangout behind the camp. We have plenty of room for you to roam both inside and outside the lodge

Just 100 yards from lodge is a 3 acre stocked bass pond where you can enjoy fishing after an after hunt breakfast. With an array of amenities, Lonesome Oak is able to provide a hunting experience that goes beyond the hunt.
